Problem solving week 11.

WALT: Use fractions.

I have learned how to make fractions on this presentation and how to add fractions and subtract fractions even improper and mixed fractions.

I have learned how to make a game animation on hyperstudio and draw my own characters and also got help from my friends.

The flash.

WALT: write effective paragraphs and write juicy and excited words.


I will be blitzing them and go oh i’m gassing you and becoming first. I was talking about what kind of superpower will i have and flash will be my favourite power to have. If you want to hear more and found out why I picked this then read on.


When I am blitzing through everybody I will feel air drifting through me. Flash is a power when I have speed and it just looks like i’m going through the air.  I will be invisible dashing through the air you won't see me at all. Ever since I have flash is my power I meant speed, I will be too nimble for you. This power will also help me with cross country and athletics.


So if I had to win for my favourite rugby team, I will be like the man in that team I will get heaps of tries and run aways too. I will also use it in basketball and get scores and other sports I like. But if there was a bad thing happening like a fire I will get the hose and go inside and spray it quickly so it can go out.  

If I had powers in real life, I will be like wow didn't know I had this in me because I probably can use it for any sports. Flash is certainly the power I will mostly want just running and stuff like that. This actually made me feel like I want to have powers.

I have learned how to make juicy words on the thesaurus and i also got help from my friend Rima and she helped me with the juicy words too. I also learned how to make it more interesting for the reader and make more punctuation.

What the task was asking was to write effective paragraphs and and juicy excited words that we got from the thesaurus and use it on our writing. It was also asking us was to use different words and for the words we are going to use like fast another word for is nimble.

Italian Super Mario.

WALT: Write effective paragraphs.
Whoa my first time playing this game this is awesome just from way back in the 80s or 90s this is the super Mario game i’m talking about. It  was probably  one of the top famous game back in the days read on to find out.


Want to learn what the aim of the game is. It is to past how much levels as you can and how many coins you can collect especially the mushrooms so they can make you bigger. If you  did not hear you  have to try and dodge the bad people so you guys don’t die. But if you do die then you will have to start from the level you’re on at the beginning.

Want to know what he looks like so lets begin with the clothes well he wears a red long sleeve t-shirt under his blue overall now moving on to the next bit. Mario’s has a hat and it is red and also has a M on the hat,  his hair is brown but  his eyebrows and moustache is black. The shoes that he wears are brown and his eyes is are as big and  blue that really amazes me he is also Italian.


Up, Down, Walk forward, Walk backwards, do you want to know what they do.  well the if you’re using the keyboard then you will need to use the arrow keys. Want to pause the game you just press the P, how to kill the bad guys you will need to jump on top of them so they can die. When you see a mystery box you have to go under and jump up so a mushroom will come down then you will get bigger if you eat it also collect the stars on each level.

Some people might think this game is so back in the eighties and nineties and say it is so boring but to me i’m like yay moving on to the next level. Once i started playing this game I was  so frustrated of winning and moving on to next  the level and this game is very incredible.

I have learn't how to write effective paragraph and how to make the reader want to read this. What the task was asking me was how to write effective paragraph just like what i said and, was to do it under 15 minutes of silent. With the whole class we all manage to finish it in fifty eight minutes.

Every paragraph that we did was about the aim what he looks like and stuff like that. The intro and conclusion was ten minutes and the rest was all thirteen minutes, this writing really helped with my learning hope you enjoy.

Similes.

 We are learning how to use similes to describe things in our writing to capture our audience.

I have learn't with my buddy how to do similes and describing things. If i use as or like then that means i am using a simile that indicates this comparison.

Math Teacher Lesson Week 9.

WALT: Use fractions


I have learn't how to use fractions with my maths teacher and with my maths group now i know that if the denominator is the same and the numerator is not the same then the denominator stays but the numerator you add it for example 6/12 + 3/12 + 3/12= 12/12 but that is not the real answer the real answer is 3/3.

Today i have learn't how to use fractions and what is left over and what is the greater then the other number
for example: 4/5 and 2/6, 4/5 is bigger because in 4/5 there are only 1/5 left and in 2/6 the left overs are 4/6.
